About

How can we harness the power of computational design to create parametric forms that challenge the typical function of materials and contribute to a positive urban experience?

My name is Jonathan Monfries, and I am an award-winning designer of public art, buildings and cities. My multidisciplinary background in architecture, development, urban design, and public art projects has benefited clients throughout Canada. My design work considers the intersection of playful art forms and functional architecture. These innovative approaches provide opportunities to reconsider how we design our cities, ensuring there is consideration for community wellbeing and climate action.
